Summary
Film printers are used for printing on industrial or medical films, forming clear handwriting on
the film and replacing traditional lead or other restricted forms. According to standard
requirements, in actual production, a large number of markings such as batch number, serial
number, part number, date, etc. need to be made on the film when exposing it, in order to
facilitate the traceability of quality records in the future. At present, the method of marking is to
place lead type on film, which forms an image on the film during exposure. However, this
method is inefficient and the font size of the text placed is also limited.
This film printer can print the required text and symbols onto the film by partially exposing the
film. The basic principle of printing:

1) Whitebackground and black text: Printing paper with white background and black text. The
white light generated by the 1ED light source passes through the content printed on ordinary
printing paper, and the white light is blocked or weakened in the areas where the text is written.
The white light passes through normally in the areas where the text is not written, forming
latent images of different exposure levels on the film. After film processing, corresponding
white handwriting appears.
2) Black background and white text: Printing paper with black background and white text. The
white light passes through normally in the areas where the text is written, and the white light on
the black background is blocked or weakened, forming latent images of different exposure
levels on the film. Black handwriting appears early after film processing. The exposure window
size can be adjusted by changing the shading plate, and the exposure time can be adjusted as
needed.

Method of use
1 connect the printer to the 220V power supply, turn on the power switch, the power indicator
lights up, and adjust the exposure time and exposure window;
2. Print out the required text with conventional printing paper through a computer printer
(preferably with a laser printer), and then cover it on the exposure window after cutting. The
size of the exposure window can be adjusted through the shading plate;
3 adjust the exposure time, which has four gears. Recommended exposure parameters for
commonly used films.
4 cover the parts of the film to be exposed on the paper;
5 press the pressing plate for automatic exposure, the work indicator light will be on, the
indicator light will be off, and the exposure is over. After exposure, loosen the pressing plate
and take out the film;
6 the film shall be packed in a dark bag, and the printed area shall be covered with a lead plate,
which shall be developed after normal.
